The executive team heading up ViA's go-to-market strategy comprises a group of tenured, senior international payment professionals who have the market experience needed to launch the products and services - now scheduled for delivery in early 2008. Speaking from the Dubai Headquarters of ViA Group, Lars Olof Kanngard advised:
"Our target is to reach 4 million merchants and 50 million cardholders within the first 8 years of operation. This may seem slow; however, the figures are conservative, based on current card usage and growth expectation - the potential is for a much faster target achievement. ViA is already licensed in many jurisdictions and we are in advanced discussions with new licensees who will take our initial area of operations up to more than 25 countries."
In a major revelation Kanngard was pleased to announce a springboard success: "ViA has secured a strategic contract with a strategic local UAE partnerto issue more than 500,000 ViA Payroll Cards to workers in UAE as part of the regions move towards electronic payroll adoption, beginning quarter 1, 2008."
In addition ViA has also reached an agreement to acquire a small number of well chosen companies which will assist the Group to quickly establish and consolidate a strong market position.
"I know that 2008 is going to create the right conditions for ViA Group to really make progress" concluded Founder and CEO Lars Olof Kanngard.

Strategic investor seals his position with ViA and its founder.
On May 22, we briefed all the ViA eMail News receivers on our plans and the founder Lars Olof Känngård has initiated negations with potential new strategic investors.
As part of the new strategy to strengthen and expand the overall structure of owners to the ViA Group an important agreement was signed in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, June 4, 2007.
"It is ofcourse an important event, we were planning to divide the offer to three well selected candidates, but the broad value we do add for each others groups of companies, allowed me to accept that this first partner aquiered 14.5%, for a non disclosed amount", says Lars Olof Känngård
After having completed also the remaining offered shares, to another group of investors, which we plan to conclude within the next few weeks, ViA will have a new injected capital from its shareholder exceeding US$20.0 million.
"There will be an official announcement and likely also a press release made by the end of June, in which we will disclose the new shareholders and all the values we will bring for each others organizations," says Lars Olof Känngård

The USA Concession - SOLD
On May 21,
Alfred Miller,
Jason Miller and
Gilles Stucker concluded the deal and bought 50% of the concession rights for the territory of the United States of America, the USA. The new concession will operate under the name ViA Virtual Instant Access USA LLC and ViA Int'l Co Ltd will hold 50% ownership.
The US Country Partner is a group of individuals whom possesses unique industry background from both stored value concepts as well as key-players in the huge remittance market. Alfred Miller was an early investor into e-lysium, which now plans to become part of the ViA Group. The trio has also secured the deal with our first partner bank for US, a national bank, under which we plan to launch the first ViA Card and ViA Merchant solution for the US market.

Changes in overall ownership
Lars Olof Känngård, the founder of the ViA concept and the innovator behind the global patented
STS - Secure Transaction StringTM method, bought out Bengt Arnesson. He now controls all shares of ViA Ltd (ViA Virtual Instant Access Ltd Hong Kong), which controls 73% of ViA Int'l Co Ltd.
"This marks the end of the first chapter of ViA", says Lars Olof Känngård from Dubai, and continues; "The changes where not planned, but came in a good time. This allows me to restructure and consolidate the group in such way that we can go to the market in a slight different way, a better way."
ViA was up to now piloted by two idea-rich entrepreneurs, the shift will make reality of a selection of these good ideas and start to generate day to day revenues.
ViA will prepare and present the concept and methods and its potentials to a few individuals and groups whom has indicated their interest to make strategic investment into the ViA Group.
"We can not live or eat technical innovations, they need to be used and the users need to pay for the services and they wouldn't subscribe to the offer, unless they see their benefits, like so simple things as protecting card numbers and identities", says Lars Olof Känngård.

Concession for Central America secured
Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Nicaragua new concessions appointed to strategic partners for the Central America region. History where once more written when Carlos L. Somoza visited Dubai and secured a deal for the listed countries. The legal structure of the operation will be announced later on during the summer. The Central American region is crucial for ViA when we will expand operation for the remittance market the unbankable and target the new eMerchant network ViA will build up in the region.

The ViA-winners!
Team ViA (Martin Nylén, Johan Söderström, Mats Magnusson, Simon Ristner, and Fredric Pettersson) won the annual Innebandy (Floorball) Tournament at the Norwegian Seamen´s center in Dubai on the 16th of February. Congratulations!
ViA had 3 teams in 2007s Volvo Grand Prix GoCart tournament on Dubai Autodrome, Sat 17th of Feb.
With three guys and one girl on each team, the ViA-teams was successful and of of them even reached the 5:th place.
Congratulations to the teams and thank you to Swedish Business Council for arranging the event in cooperation with Al Futtaim Motor/Volvo Cars.

Nigeria - SOLD!
Nigeria - SOLD! A prominent deal was made when ViA Int'l Co Ltd sold 40% of ViA Nigeria and its future country operational entity. ViA Int'l Co Ltd look forward to a long cooperation and joint development. "The African market is gigantic", says Lars Olof Kanngard from Dubai and welcome the new country partner who opens a new dimension for ViA. During first quarter 2007 ViA and its executives plan to make a site visit to some of the African countries for evaluating and creating a suitable technical model as well as a suitable business model for a country where ATM terminals and POS terminals is likely counted as a "unusual" species. "ViA aim to always find a better way to conduct secure transactions and help those who truly need a better way, why Africa is a focal point for our strategy", says Lars Olof Kanngard.

Mr. Albert Weintraub makes a historical visit to Dubai, where he was concluding the final details for the planned takeover of e-lysium Transaction System Inc. This marks the beginning of the strategy for ViA to enter the US market and keep its roots and the history well written. First publication of the STS Patent scheduled to November.
On July 20, 2005, ViA was submitting its PCT patent applications for its security innovation, the STS-Secure Transaction StringTM method. The PCT patent covers 183 countries, as well as separate patent applications was submitted in the US, Canada, UK, Argentina, Australia and China and a European EPO application. ViA did apply for priority in UK and as it now look the publication date seams to be as soon as end of November 2006. "Out of all the news and patent research which has been conducted, from last year and up to now, we have not find a single patent which is close to what we have innovated", states Lars Olof Kanngard. "The innovation to divide transaction data up in several blocks and encrypt each of the block with a unique encryption key do contribute a new dimension to the whole IT industry and the eSociety, suddenly you only show what you need to show."

ViA Emirates LLC is being born, as of August 13, 2006 we did receive the official registration and the Commercial License to operate as a Stored Value Card Issuing Service. The aproved classification 6519-11 "Stored Value Card Issueing Service" is under Code 65 and 651 Financial & Monetary Institutions, this marks an important milestone in the progress to role out ViA in the world. ViA Emirates LLC is the second country operation which now has been legalized.

Card activation and users uses their ViA Gold Cards
As of June 20, 2006 smaller number of user groups has started to use ViA Online with all the functions. The way to reach this stage has taken longer then few expected but ViA do have a secure and robust solution which hopefully will withstand security threats.
